Una ragazza dei nostri tempi mette da parte il proprio smartphone e le sue attrazioni, per chiedere l'aiuto della Vergine delle Grazie, offrendole un fiore di loto che simboleggia il proprio amore e devozione nei suoi confronti, a fronte di una richiesta di grazia. In primo piano, la candela accesa indica la luce della propria fede, sorretta dai libri e quindi dalla conoscenza del vivere. Un’ampolla che custodisce l’acqua del Mincio, si riversa su un drappo rosso e sui petali appassiti del fiore, simboleggiando il sudore misto al sangue che Cristo ha versato sulla croce a remissione dei nostri peccati. I petali indicano questi ultimi. La composizione è ambientata nella riserva del Mincio, con sullo sfondo il santuario delle Grazie, in un’atmosfera che mette in evidenza lo stato d’animo di quiete del momento rappresentato, oltre che del fascino stesso dei luoghi.

In the foreground, the lit candle indicates the light of one's faith, supported by books and therefore by the knowledge of living. A ampoline that guards the water of the Mincio, pours on a red drapery and on the withered petals of the flower, symbolizing the sweat mixed with the blood that Christ has shed on the cross in remission of our sins. The petals indicate the latter. The composition is set in the Mincio reserve, with the shrine of Graces in the background, in an atmosphere that highlights the mood of stillness of the moment represented, as well as the charm of the places itself.
